Overview

Miniature paintings show the incredibly detailed visual narratives of royalty in Rajasthan. Workshop artist Asharam Meghwal won the National Award in 2001 for his significant contribution and also has 45 years of experience and was trained by great teachers, such as Kripal Singh, Nathulalji and Durgeshji. This experience offers to learn the arts from the roots and thus helps to better connect to the history and reasons behind the emergence of the arts.
