Chand Baori (Step well)
Chand Baori (stepwell) in the Abhaneri village is one of the oldest and most popular attractions in Rajasthan. It was built by King Chanda of the Nikumbha Dynasty in 9th century AD. One of the largest stepwells in the world, Chand Baori was built to conserve water and provide a respite from the intense heat. It was a community gathering place for locals as well as royals. Chand Baori is an architectural wonder with 3,500 perfectly symmetrical, narrow steps. It is this exquisite geometry that draws local and international.

Harshat Mata Temple
Adjoining the baori is the architecturally splendid and sculpturally beautiful Harshat Mata Temple.Many of its pillars, columns, statues now lie scattered in the temple courtyard and in the corridors of the structure. The temple was dedicated to Harshat Mata, believed to be the goddess of happiness and joy, who spread her glow and brightness (abha) around the town.

Galtaji Temple
After seeing the beauty of Abhaneri, move towards to Jaipur. On the way, stop at the Monkey Temple, known as such due to the large tribe of monkeys who live there in the temples, which have been largely abandoned and only partially restored.
Galta Ji is a large Hindu temple complex that lies 10km to the east of Jaipur. These temples are a popular tourist attraction as they are home to a large colony of monkeys and this has given rise to the common name of the complex, the monkey temple.
