Overview

The art of hand block printing is as old as 2000 years old, although in India, this art exists from the 12th Century (making it 800-900 years old). The three-centuries-old tradition of block printing is kept alive with the efforts of local artisans. Handblock prints are more famous for their exceptional quality of being eco-friendly.

The workshop will take place amidst the fields where natural indigo is grown & cultivated to be used in colouring.
