What To Expect

Amber Palace
Constructed of red sandstone and marble, the attractive, opulent palace is laid out on four levels, each with a courtyard. It consists of the Diwan-e-Aam, or "Hall of Public Audience", the Diwan-e-Khas, or "Hall of Private Audience", the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), or Jai Mandir, and the Sukh Niwas where a cool climate is artificially created by winds that blow over a water cascade within the palace. Hence, the Amer Fort is also popularly known as the Amer Palace.The palace was the residence of the Rajput Maharajas and their families.

Jal Mahal
The Jal Mahal is an exquisite palace built at the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. The palace stands bright with five floors, four of which remain under water.The Jal Mahal was built by Maharaja Madho Singh I to serve as a lodge for his duck hunting parties. The Mahal is a testament to the bond that was formed between the Rajput’s and Mughal Empire. The architecture of the palace has resemblance of both types of construction.

Though entry is not allowed inside so we'll just stop by for some time for some view and picture session.

City Palace of Jaipur
The palace was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. As most structures in Jaipur this palace also reflects the fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture.

The City Palace complex is spread over a large area occupying one seventh of the old city of Jaipur. It has a sequence of gardens, buildings and courtyards, temple and museum to give it a grand view that reflects its historical importance and magnificent royal grace. Its outer boundary was built by Raja Jai Singh and other structures by his successors to add charm to it. It also served as a residence for former Maharaja of Jaipur.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind
Hawa Mahal is a five story building that is situated in the heart of the city of Jaipur. It has a beehive like structure and is made of red and pink sand stone lined with white color to make it vibrant. It is pink like the rest of the pink city of Jaipur.

The palace has carved and arched small chhatris or dome-shaped pavilions showing the richness of vivid Rajputana architecture. The walls of palace have 953 jharokha or overhanging balconies from where cool and fresh air can pass.

The most unique aspect about the palace is the fact that at all times a light breeze passes through it. That is how the palace got its name. Hawa means wind, which is the Palace of Winds.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur
Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. India has a total of five such observatories the largest of which is in Jaipur.

The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur consists of 19 large instruments each serving a very specific purpose. The most significant among these is the Samrat Yantra which is the largest sundial in the country.

Albert Hall Museum

The foundation for the building started in 1876, when Prince of Wales visited Jaipur.

Birla Mandir Temple

Moti Dungari Temple
Moti Dungri Ganesh temple defines the advancement of Old Indian architecture and its relation with the psychology and mind. Only a few time you spend here can give treat your mental anxieties, depression and so many other stress problems. It’s a matter of hours sometimes in minutes. Temple is covering more than 2 km area and has three well-built domes. The main idol of the Lord Ganesha is in the heart of the temple. Make sure that this place is on your visit list. The name of the temple is after the name of the palace and it means Moti- The pearl and Dungri- the word is used to define small hill in Rajasthani.
