Overview

Bheemawas is a small but very secluded village amidst Aravali ranges in Jaipur. The name translates to ‘Bheem’ (one of Pandava brothers from mythological epic Mahabharata) & ‘Awas’ (home), as it is said that during their exile the ‘Pandavas’, he stayed here for a short time.

This daylong trip will take you to explore this very beautiful village, which is also in the core zone of wildlife sanctuary which is inhabited by leopards among many other animals. Here you will be immersed in the rural life, explore the beautiful flower farms, and dig deeper to explore mythological Mahabharata connection. Cherish soulful hospitality of affable villagers with traditional organic meals prepared from locally grown ingredients, hear the stories which no Google can tell you. Trek up to the mountains and check out the years-old caves.

What To Expect

Start early from Jaipur and have your breakfast on the way. We will reach the village by around 10 AM & get welcomed by villagers in a traditional manner with smiling faces. Have tea with the natives and get introduced to them.

All the curious minds can heard the stories from the natives while having the tea about how the name of the village has came into existence. You will be amazed to know that the village has been around from the time of epic Mahabharata.

While the lunch is being prepared, explore the beautiful village by foot. Visit the colorful flower farms nearby and you will be amazed by the natural beauty of the village.

Cherish the soulful hospitality of the villagers with traditional organic meals prepared from locally grown vegetables and ingredients.

Trek to the mountains to some age-old caves which were being used by leopards. Keep your eyes open, you might encounter one on your way. Also explore one of the Asia's oldest and among the best polo ground which is situated in the village.
